Greater Cleveland Chess

We have received our order for wood game tables. These are solid wood tables that will be used for the top quad and if we exceed 44 players. This provides a more private experience for our top players; allowing them to concentrate more deeply and create masterpieces. 

We have eight boards that we live-stream during our events. These games are also available after the event for two weeks before they are pulled down. This image is from one of our events. 

Registration is now automated and online. We will publish our next event with a link. You will fill out your information, pay your event fee and do no more than let the TD know you are here. You will see who else is coming on the registration link. During the event the pairings will be broadcast to a link, and your phone via text/email. Don't worry if you end up not being able to attend. Just let us know via email, text, call and we will refund you.  

We have increased our capacity and are ready for our next tournament. Features such as text messaging your next round and streaming pairings and standings per quad have been added. Also, automated pairing software with full registration pre-event is not up and running. Out plan is to improve every aspect of your experience.

We're not nearly done. Our goal is to elevate the experience. That includes automated registration, live-streaming of top boards,  automatic pairing with text message, bringing in individual wood play tables, enabling credit card purchases, and continuing to look for ways we can streamline the event so it's all chess without the distractions.
